We have just returned from a holiday to Palma Nova. On the last full day we visited Western Park. It was a great day out for the family (two adults and one child aged eight). There were attractions for every age, including the scary slides such as 'Kamakaze; for the more adventurous, paddling pools, an activity centre for the very young and good sized slides for children a little bit older, but who are scared of the steep or dark slides.

The shows are very good, particularly the diving show which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting. The park was not too pricey and was well worth what we paid. If you are planning to visit Western Park, you do need to go for the full day. We got there when it opened, but had to leave at 3:30 to go to 'Pirates', which was a shame, as there were many of the attractions we did not get chance to do.

It was August when we visited so it was very busy, but gladly the queues were not too big. We were usually waiting for about ten minutes which is not too bad.

I would highly recommend this park to families with children of all ages, particularly if you have either older children, or a mixture of older and younger children.

A first class water park with something for all ages. If you get chance to go, try and take up the re-visit offer. You can re-visit for nine euros (adult) and six euros (child). Spent the whole day there and it was fantastic.

Brilliant. I am 13 and I really enjoyed it. I went with my parents and a friend and her family. It was amazing. There were rides for everyone and for all ages. The shows were also amazing. The diving show was fab. Made a great day out. The food wasn't that good but overall I would recommend it.

Totally brilliant. Well worth a day out here. Great for the kids and the older ones. I'm 42 and loved it. Didn't think I would but I did.

Depending on your budget, I would take a packed lunch. Food I had wasn't that great and not worth the price. But overall it was great and I would go back again. Also, the shows are good.

Couldn't have asked for more. Western Water Park was the best water park I've been to in my life. It was very clean and the food was good. The four 'Kamikazé' slides are the best I've ever been on. The 30 metre kamikazé (the yellow one) was brilliant. Unbelievable.

When you first pull up in the car park, it doesn't look as if the park is very maintained. But when you get in, you realise it's all part of the scenery.

The only down side I have is that my friends' chicken nuggets were extremely greasy. But my burger and my mum's pizza was delicious. It was the nicest burger I had the whole holiday.

The thing that didn't really affect me but would make others happy is that there is things for all ages. There were very small slides for younger people and huge thrill slides for the teenagers like me that go.

I would give Western Water Park five stars and would highly recommend it to anyone who is going to Majorca.

Me and my family have been to many water parks, and this could have affected our judgement. I greatly enjoyed the park but found that the rides were spread out and on closer look, there were actually not that many slides there.

The larger rides were great fun, and the queues went quickly but in most cases, there was no queue. However, towards the end of the day I started to get bored as I had been on everything many times.

The park staff where very friendly and up to having a laugh. The prices of food where reasonable in some places, but price of drinks was expensive. The weather was lovely and we got a nice tan by walking around. The ground was rough and hurt my feet so I suggest if you go taking water socks as shoes are not allowed on the rides.

The yellow largest slide was worth the climb to the top. Altogether the water park was a nice day out and I would advise you to go.

You should go to the Western Water Park when you stay at a hotel in Majorca because it is fantastic! The slides are super! The kiddies' area is fantastic and we loved it! The shows are fab! It's a really fab place to go for the day! We all loved it!

Excellent day out. Still small queues out of season, so must be manic in season. Fun rides to suit all - gentle or thrilling for the more adventurous. I went on the biggest slide (yellow one) and definitely worth walking all the steps to the top.

The only downfall is paying for lockers and beds etc. but you get a free hat and bag for your visit to compensate! Good family day out catering for small children and adults alike. Get to the shows quickly as seats fill up.

I thought that it was a fab day for me and my family. We enjoyed the food, although it was a bit pricey. My brother particularly enjoyed the rubber rings and we enjoyed the big slide. I thought the western features were very good and I highly recommend it. Thank you.

I stay in Mallorca at least twice every year and on many occasions, I have gone to the water park. Each time has got better and better! I have also gone to the water park just next to the Western Water Park (Aqualand). Compared to Western Water Park, it's nothing!

Western Water Park looks the oldest and the most run down out of the two, but once you get inside, it really is excellent! Even if you're not a fan of the rides, its lovely to go in the lazy river and sunbathe!

I'm flying out to Mallorca on Tuesday and plan to go to the water park again! I cant wait! I would highly recommend Western Water Park.

Great entertainment for all the family. We wanted to spend three or four days the next time we went, in May 2007. When we arrived in 2007 we found that it was closed until June, which was really disappointing. It ruined our stay because that was the highlight of the children's holiday and ours.

From what we can gather the aqua park was owned by the same company and decided to close the western park. We are going again in 2008, hopefully it will be open. I did try emailing them but did not receive a reply, which I was disappointed with.

It is incredible. The best ride is 'Diablo 3' and the mega slide and the wave pool is minted. Oh yeah,
I am 11so I should know. I went and it is ace.

The shows are a wee bit dreadful though so don't worry about them, apart from the sea lion one - that's quite good.

So why not go now. Stop reading this and go!
