I used to go to Estartit for many years. I returned in 2006 to find the town totally changed. Whereas before every other bar/pub was a British themed pub, these are few and far between now. However, 'Jimmy's' cellar pub (behind 'Joc's' funfair and Estartit football ground) still provides the best atmosphere and fun night in town. From quizzes, bingo, great music and fun from all the family, this is definitely the number one pub in town. Great happy hour (two hours) where two drinks for the price of one. If you are going to Estartit, this is a must visit place in the evening. The DJ/compere is a Scotsman with a brilliant sense of humour.

Estartit was a very lovely place to visit. The people were very friendly and made you feel welcome. It is a good place for kids to visit. 'Fighting Cocks' bar was a great pub atmosphere and my family were made very welcome. I would definitely say it was by far the cheapest place for a drink and the bar staff were very helpful when I needed to know any local events and info. I would definitely say pop in and see.
