Ca'n Picafort Information
The resort of Ca'n Picafort lies on the north east coast of Mallorca at the southern end of the Bay of Alcudia. Transfer time from the Palma airport is about one hour. Ca'n Picafort is not a purpose built tourist resort, but although little now remains of the original fishing village, it has retained a small working harbour from where a number of pleasure trips depart several times each day.
The resort has a beach side promenade which runs from the marina to Con Baulo. There are many bars and restaurants along the promenade and in the resort centre, but without the evening entertainment of Mallorca's main resorts, Ca'n Picafort offers a more subdued holiday. Evening entertainment is generally hotel based.

"Lovely Place To Stay"
Travel date:
August 2007
Ca'n Picafort is a lovely place to stay. There is no end to bars, restaurants and clubs for the younger guest. Each bar and restaurant caters for the children. Also along the beautiful beach of Ca'n Picafort are many shops and bars where you can take time out of the very hot sun and enjoy a lovely cold larger. Also try the 'Oasis' bar on the beach front - they have live acts on every other night and they are fantastic. We watched Freddie Mercury while we were there - a very enjoyable night's entertainment.
A must go, I would most certainly recommend this resort to all as it really can cater for all age groups. Very enjoyable time spent here and would go back again.

William's Bar

"William's Is Great"

We found 'William's Bar' by accident on the second day of our holiday. The owners, William and his brother, are friendly and helpful. The food is great and reasonably priced. William even made a special Spanish omelette that wasn't on the menu and charged very little for it. Off the main road but recommended.

Fantastic bars, both within two minutes of each other. Great atmosphere in both. Ask in 'Mo's' about the fancy dress party he took pictures of.

'Jamaica Bar' and 'Trotter's' on The beach were the only things to save our holiday. The staff and atmosphere are amazing and both are on the beach. Food superb too.

"William's Bar Is Great And So Friendly"
Travel date:
August 2007
We visited Ca'n Picafort for a week's holidays when we stumbled across 'William's' bar. This is a very well maintained and friendly bar. It is an English bar and has playstations for the children. My seven year old son was in his element and they also have 'Connect Four' for the younger children. They do lovely food and are so friendly they always make you feel welcome and have a chat with you. So be sure to make a visit to this bar. I am sure you will enjoy. Also try the home made sangria - really, really nice and sure to help you on your way.

We found this place in a street full of British bars. The food is great and the company is even better. You could go there every night for dinner and get something different every night and it is all good. Also try the Cruzcampo beer it is amazing. P.S. the resort is really nice too!

"Wotsit's Place Is Great! "

This our fourth time to Ca'n Picafort. The bar is a good place to drink from glass vessels! They have quizzes and English football and the staff are extremely friendly. It is classified as an English and Irish pub - there are times when the regulars get a free drink or two during their stay. Very favourable place to drink, even a soft drink or coffee available, all at extremely reasonable prices.

"Fabulous Food And Company"

We came across this bar by accident when we went out from our hotel in search of a good English breakfast. We ended up staying for about two hours and went back several more times and recommended it to other hotel guests and our holiday rep. The food was great - try the steak pie - its delicious. Anne and Neil the owners were excellent company and had a good local knowledge which proved very useful to us. I would thoroughly recommend giving this bar a try if you are staying in Ca'n Picafort. It is on Via Suissa 12

"Miami II - A Great, Great Bar"

Subject – Miami II, right on the seafront, about three quarters of the way up towards the marina. We had a wonderful welcome off the staff, especially Michael, Christian and Joanna. We seemed to gravitate to the bar nearly every night and always came away feeling tired and emotional, as the well known saying goes. A great bar, with a very relaxed atmosphere and if we go to Ca'n Picafort again, we'll definitely visit Miami II.

"Great Times At Charly's"

If you are heading out to Ca'n Picafort this summer then I suggest that you should definitely make Charly's one of your regular places to go! The bar is based on an American theme, cowboys and Indians to be exact! Upstairs you have the bar where you can play all sorts of games such as pool and darts, and downstairs there is the night club. I never went in there myself as it costs about ten euros to get in but if you like your different themed nights, then the nightclub is the place to go as it regularly holds 70's nights and others alike! The staff are really friendly there and they often give you free shots - I'm sure I had about six free drinks one night! The place is really great, although I will warn you the toilets are a bit vandalised! But apart from that, it's a great place to spend your nights!
