Sa Coma Information
The resort of Sa Coma is to be found on the eastern coast of Mallorca, almost midway between the resorts of Cala Millor and Portocristo. It is 110 kilometres east from the Son Sant Joan International airport at Palma.

Sa Coma is a modern purpose built resort that is popular with British tourists. It contains a selection of shops, bars and restaurants, many of which are British owned. Sa Coma has a sandy beach and behind the beach is a traffic free promenade that runs the full length of the resort towards s'Illot to the south and the smaller sheltered beach of Cala Moreia.

The resort is especially popular with families with children and has evening entertainment that is based in hotels, although the resort does have a number of bars. Sa Coma is joined to the resort of s'Illot by a footbridge over a small freshwater lagoon and there is also a slightly longer road bridge.

Sa Coma is out of this world. If you go, you have to visit the 'King's Head' - it's amazing and it has the most gorgeous boy in there.

This resort is excellent. This is my first time here. It is highly recommended for families. Plenty of entertainment throughout the day and night. The resort is perfect. Five minutes walk to the white sandy beach (very clean).

The 'King's Head' pub is excellent for meals and there is plenty to do during the night. Big portion meals at good prices too. The staff are brill, and very friendly. The other place to visit is the 'Happy' bar'. The staff are happy and cheerful and if you ask for a drink of baileys – wow - good measure.

Not a very inspiring resort. Lots of souvenir shops all selling much the same thing. Beach is nice but gets very packed but it's clean, as are the streets.

Some bars are OK, although food is same old boring menu pretty much everywhere. Nothing Spanish, I'm afraid. Just the same old burgers, chips, pies you get in any resort catering for the British.

I would avoid the 'King's Head'. Very loud music and people in there with small children holding their hands over their ears (at 1.00 a.m). Occasional fights too, although the earlier entertainment up to about 10.30 is good. A family resort but bars in competition for customers and very loud music coming from every direction every evening.

This resort is amazing. I've been twice before and I'm going again this year. It is very resourceful and is only a nice ten minute walk from the white sanded beach. If you go, you have to visit The Kings Head pub in the resort centre. Its very cool!!!

For the best value in town, the 'Royal Oak' is unbeatable. They just serve excellent traditional English food. No pool cues up your nose and no sport on TV! Perfect.

Everyone must go to the 'King's Head' when visiting Sa Coma. I'm just back and was never out of the place. Great food, great prices and all the staff are lovely. A big shout out to them all - Manolito, Darren, Juanpe, Mano, Neil, Vasco, Ruben, Jorge, Michael and Katie. Loved you guys! Live entertainment there every night including 'Queen' and 'The Beatles' Bingo every night - not to be missed.

Been going to Sa Coma for years now and it's brilliant. The best place to go is the 'King's Head'. We have got to give a shout out to all the guys - Walter (best chef ever), Mano (Do the Do), Manaleto (Audi TT), Juanpe (Cheeky Cheeky), Ruben (Found in a tree), Ian (Do the Jue), Daz (Scottish), Neil (Bless him), Miguel (Get your muscles out) and one to Gaz (Lil' Scousie Boy)

Roll on two months - we are going there to work.

We would recommend to one and all!

'Delaney's' Irish bar is one of the best, if not the best, bar in Sa Coma. Their staff are great with the kids, the food is mouth wateringly good, the atmosphere is super and the live acts are great. For all you Guinness lovers, it's an excellent pint or you can always stick with the regular beers which are buy one, get one free in the happy hour. I will be going back.

Review title: "Kings Head Is The Best Place To Be!"
Travel date: June 2007
I would recommend Sa Coma to anyone! This was my second time there and I can't wait to go back! For evening entertainment we went to the 'Kings Head' ten out of the 14 nights! Nowhere beats it!

If you want a romantic dinner, I would highly recommend 'La Bodega' which is excellent. But do not go to 'Cafe del Mar' restaurant beside the 'Hippodrome'. It is terrible! My boyfriend got lasagne and it was still frozen in the middle! The manager just said tough! But I still had to pay for my dinner even though I hadn't eaten it! So just don't go there if you go to Sa Coma.

Apart from that its an excellent place and is especially good for families. Also you have to visit the Sa Coma market which is on Wednesdays.

I have been to Sa coma twice now and next year Im going to go again. The hotel we stayed in was the Safari Park. It was very clean and the people who work there are helpful, but the best pub is the King's Head!

You can't beat that pub. The staff who work there are the best and cheerful, especially the boss (Mano) if he still works there. It is the best resort you can go!

When you visit Sa Coma, you have to go to the 'King's Head' .It is a great all round bar for food and night time entertainment. You will not meet nicer people than the staff at the King's Head. Best bar in Sa Coma, hands down. My niece and nephew who are 12 and 13, they loved the place. It was the only place they wanted to be in the evening. You will not be disappointed. I'm going again as soon as I get money together.
