Cala San Vicente (Cala Sant Vincenc) is situated on the northern coast of Mallorca, some 56 kilometres north east of Palma and the airport and six kilometres north east of Pollenca. The resort started off as a fishing village and has older houses, a church and several beach restaurants around the main beach of Cala Barques, one side of which is used by fishermen for repairing nets and storing goods.

Two other beaches, Cala Clara and Cala Molins, have some small-scale development but the main resort is much less developed than other resorts on the island and would therefore suit mature couples and families with children. Evening entertainment is usually hotel based.
