There is a small canal with miniature Venetian style bridges running alongside. A small inlet has four bridges over it to a central island with a cafe. There is a gently shelving beach backed by small rocky outcrops. The golden sand is imported from the Sahara. In the resort centre, there is a selection of shops, tavernas and bars.
