Vilamoura Information
Vilamoura is a pupose built resort which was started in 1974, centred around the Marina which has a capacity of 1,000 craft. Today it is the largest tourist beach resort in Europe, with many long sandy beaches. The town is situated some 14 kilometres west of Faro Airport, in the Algarve region of southern Portugal.
