Heard the 'Smugglers' bar/restaurant in Cap Salou was lovely for a meal. The place certainly is but the food isn't compared to 'Sam's' in Salou. We got their special - plate meant for two with chicken and ribs etc. The waitress told us if we ordered the meal accompanied by a side order of jacket potatoes, we would get one spud between us. Weird. The food was cold, sparse and served with tiny wee square plates. We had to ask for a decent plate to put it on. Ate at 'Sam's' for the rest of the week.

Went to 'Mickey's bar. Expected Guinness as they has pump displayed but no Guinness available. They allowed smoking inside the bar. Music was desperately loud and lights much too bright inside the bar. Seating uncomfortable. People go there because they are on holidays and don't want to go to bed at 12 and this is the only place we could find open after 12 which had a bit if music. Maybe a guitar player or a singer could have been employed, even at the weekend?
