Playa de Palma Information

The resort of Playa de Palma is situated on the southern coast of Mallorca, at the eastern end of the Bay of Palma. It is 11 kilometres from the centre of the city of Palma, and one kilometre from the international airport. The resort runs for about one kilometre along the sea front, nearly merging with Ca'n Pastilla in the north west and culminating in s'Arenal in the south east.

Playa de Palma is especially popular with young German tourists and there is a lively night life with many pubs, discos and clubs. The resort has a sea front promenade. The streets in the harbour area are narrow, with a nautical club and marina. Buses to Palma stop at intervals along the main road and run every 15 minutes and a tourist train follows a route around the hotel area.
