We had a great day out on the boat Archangel Michael. It's not crowded - they only take 25 and no children for safety reasons. They take you to two islands, the first for a barbecue, which they cook on the land but serve on the boat. You can leave the boat and go on to the pebble beach but you need to be able to climb over a few rocks. The second island lands more easily for the sandy beach for sunbathing and swimming. Their food is great and plenty of it. Lovely fresh fish, chicken and salads. Fruit and cake and plenty of drinks. Enough space that you don't have to fry on the top deck unless you want to. On days when there is enough wind, they put the sails up. To find them, go in to Kos Town, turn left under St. John's Bridge and keep walking along the harbour for about 300 yards.
