It offers a number of nightclubs and bars but one of the main attractions of Laganas is the migration of the loggerhead sea turtles. Each year during the months of June, July and August the turtles migrate to the Bay of Laganas to lay their eggs on the protected beach. North east of Laganas is the island's airport.
