Vilaflor Information
Vilaflor is situated to the south of Mount Teide in Tenerife. It lies some 25 kilometres north west of the Reina Sofia Airport. The one time spa town is located at 1,400 metres and is the highest town in the Canary Islands.
The town has many mansions dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, although the parish church dates from around the first half of the 16th century. Today the main business of the town is agriculture although the nearby Mount Teide brings many tourists to the area.
