Illetas Information

Illetas (Ses Illetes) is situated on the south coast of Mallorca, 20 kilometres to the west of Palma and the island's international airport. Transfer time to the resort is about 20 minutes by car. Ses Illetes is off the main road, has landscaped and terraced gardens, a sandy beach beneath low cliffs and, in addition, several tiny coves, often used exclusively by the hotels.

Ses Illetes is a resort popular with professional couples and families looking for the cultural aspects of nearby Palma and its facilities, including golf courses, as opposed to the clubs and bars of Magaluf. It also attracts business and convention bookings, especially in the low season.

Evening entertainment tends to be sophisticated and most hotels operate their own restaurants.

We have stayed at Illetas for many years now and I almost don't want to tell you how much we love it (want to keep it for ourselves)! The hotel Club Playa is perfect for location and amenities. The two local beaches are small, clean and have good amenities. I would have given it ten out of ten but nowhere is that good, is it?

We have visited this bar many times over the past two years and they have never failed to impress. Phil and Co. at Sorrentos are always high spirited and put on some great entertainment and food - everything from fresh local tapas, delicious outdoor barberque nights and tasty al la carte. Always a mixed crowd of locals and tourists making for great conversations. I would highly recommend a visit!
