Aegean Region Information
The Aegean Region of Turkey is situated in the western part of the country. The west coast is on the Aegean Sea and stretches down to the Mediterranean. The region is one of the loveliest areas of Turkey, with a beautiful coastline with large beaches, fishing villages, holiday villages and ancient ruins to explore. The region has a mild climate with hot summers and mild winters.
