Accommodation and Hotels in Mallorca
With 'no-frills' airlines like Easy-Jet and BMI baby amongst others it has never been cheaper to fly to Palma (PMI) airport. Car hire is relatively cheap or taxis are available from the airport with rates to each resort published at the airport.
Mallorca has an excellent summer climate, interesting history, varied entertainment and in each resort there is something for all ages.
Generally speaking the south of Mallorca, especially Magaluf and Palmanova, are the lively resorts with many nightclubs, bars and entertainment. Mallorca's two main resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova to the south of the island are the liveliest. These two resorts are almost joined now, although officially the border is around the Torrenova headland.
Generally speaking a DIY holiday will often work out cheaper than a package holiday. Try looking at the cheaper airlines and a good hotel booking website.
Always keep an eye on those package holidays though as bargains can be found especially out of season.
