The hotel boasts an architectural influence of the high Victorian period. At that time Malta was a British colony and many of the people starting imitating British lifestyles, including building their stately homes along their architectural styles. The hotel boasts a sweeping staircase in its lobby. The furniture that is found in the hotel includes several unique pieces amongst which a mantelpiece clock dating back from Louis XIV, as well as some antique mirrors in the lobby. Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine in classical settings. The bar serves a variety of cocktails, there is a television room, internet facilities, swimming pool set in the gardens, sun terrace and a games room with a snooker table and gym equipment.
