"We Had A Good Time At The Lobos Bahia"
Travel date:
January 2009
Myself, my sister and our mother stayed for one week self catering in the Lobos Bahia apartments. We loved the resort. The food is far better than in Lanzarote.
The two bed apartment we had was spacious. We did have a problem with ants in the kitchen cupboards and we had to give it a clean ourselves. I do agree with other reviewers that the maids didn't kill themselves with work- one day towels and the next day bins etc.
It is a fine complex. Huge pools - we had lovely lunches by the pool. The bar at night was dead so only went three times. Staff were nice. Lots of things to amuse kids if they were with us. We wouldn't come in summer with them though as the Lobos has no air conditioning which in this day and age is a necessity.
The three of us got bitten by mosquitoes. Our plug in killer had no effect so we did a lot of visiting the chemists. We did have a great time though, just I think they need to top up the apartments with a paint job. It's a bit old fashioned, but we survived and would go back.

"Loved The Lobos Bahia"
Travel date:

I've just got back from a week that could only be described as one of the most fun of my life. Having never been to Fuerteventura before, I read the reviews on here first and went away with a very open mind.
The resort is great. Ideal for families, couples, young and old. The weather was better than expected for January - slightly cloudy but hitting 25 or 26 degrees daily.
The apartment itself was clean and tidy. Just the right size for two.
The only complaints I have were:
Shower was useless - standing in the rain would have been more effective. No mosquito net of any description and they really like me! The maid got lazier as the week progressed - obviously in need of a holiday.
All in all though, excellent value for money. Perfect location. Friendly staff. Nice pools (although too cold to use). We're going back to the Lobos Bahia Club for New Year!

"Lobos Bahia Club Hotel Was Poor"
Travel date:
December 2007
We arrived on Boxing Day at the Lobos Bahia Club. Well, where do I start? I am not a fussy person but it was one thing after another. The swimming pool was so cold it was like ice, the kids wouldn't go in. There were ants in the lemonade. Most of the sun beds were broken, the bar staff were miserable and would serve the paying customers and ignore the all inclusive.
The food was awful, no choice - chips, salad, rice, bread, very poor. Several people cut their feet on swimming pool floor. The evening entertainment was rubbish.
The only good things I can say are the rooms were cleaned and towels changed and the day time entertainment worked hard to involve the children. If we had been there for two weeks we would have insisted on moving hotels.

"Loved Lobos Bahia"

we came to the Lobos Bahia Club for our first holiday with our 11 month old daughter and fell in love with Fuerteventura!
The staff were friendly, the rooms were lovely and beaches out of this world - lovely.
Only complaint was mosquitoes but that can't be helped and I suppose I should have used repellent. Would return again and again! Recommend highly.

"Lobos Bahia Club Hotel Is Great!"

The rooms were very clean and tidy! The maids were in every day and did a great job. The rooms were a fair size and were spacey for your needs.
The pool wasn't chlorine (which was a good thing) as we have just come back from Mallorca and I got an ear infection from the dirty water in the pool, but when I was at Lobos Bahia Club, the pool was clean and I didn't have any problems. During my stay I got a heat stroke but was my own fault from not wearing sun lotion but apart from that is was brilliant.
I would definitely recommend it to families as there is a lot to do locally and there are a few fun fair rides outside the park but you can't hear them at night as they shut them down at about 11 p.m! So don't get worried thinking there's going to be unpeaceful nights.
