The three star Parque Tropical Hotel is situated at the eastern end of Playa del Ingles, about 100 metres from a small beach and 600 metres from the main beach, on the southern coast of Gran Canaria, about 30 kilometres from the airport.

The Parque Tropical is built in Canarian style, in a sub tropical garden. The accommodation comprises 235 rooms, each having a private bathroom and shower, and a balcony or terrace. The rooms are equipped with a telephone, satellite television and a hair dryer. A safety deposit box can be rented on arrival.

The facilities at the hotel include a swimming pool and a children's pool (both heated in winter), a buffet restaurant, a grill snack bar in the gardens, a sauna and hairdresser. A programme of entertainment is provided and guests can play tennis, mini golf or pétanque and play chess on the giant chess set in the garden. There are bars, shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities nearby.
