Just a word of warning to others booking with Apartarent. After many conversations by email and 'phoning, the booking that was made for me was not at the bottom of the slopes as I wanted but 15 kilometres away in Vielha. Please state very clearly if you want to be in Baqueira. After one hour of complaining on arrival, we eventually got the apartment (at a cheaper price) we wanted and managed to get back what they wanted to charge us for cancelling the other accomodation at the Vall Blanca.

Also on our first day, the cleaner came in and only emptied the ashtray and left the door unlocked. One complaint and our apartment was cleaned very well everyday.

I do not blame Apartarent directly but more the travel agent you HAVE to phone to book. Otherwise Baqueira was amazing. Great snow, sunny and cheap compared to other resorts. We loved it and would use Apartarent again but making very sure where the room is.
