The two key Alvatur Apartments are situated on the hillside some 1500 metres from the beach (reached by steps or by a winding road) and 200 metres from the town centre, on the south western coast of Gran Canaria, about 50 kilometres from the airport.

The accommodation at the eight storey Alvatur complex comprises 96 apartments, each having a private bathroom and shower, a bedroom, a kitchenette, a lounge with sofa bed, and a balcony or terrace. They are equipped with pay to view satellite television, a telephone and a rental safety deposit box.

The facilities at the apartments include a restaurant, a pool bar, a swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace with sun beds and parasols, a laundry service and a supermarket. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in the town centre.
