The four star Tropicana Hotel is situated directly on the Mediterranean sea and was completely renovated and redecorated in 2004. It is situated at the beginning of the famous strip, La Carihuela.

Facilities at the hotel include a swimming pool with sun terraces, tropical gardens, two restaurants, conference facilities, a lounge and a bar overlooking the tropical gardens and the pool. On some evenings, there is live piano music and there is also a television in the bar. The Tropicana beach club restaurant is right on the beach and here guests can enjoy typical Spanish tapas or cocktails.
