My partner and I stayed at this hotel with my two children for one week and I would not recommend it for anyone other than teenagers who want to drink all day and stay up until the early hours of the morning. We were woken every morning at about five to the sound of drunken shouting and swearing returning after a night out. The poolside was dominated by groups of lads and girls, the poolside music was too loud and invasive and the staff found it difficult to keep it clean due to cigarette butts and litter dropped.

The hotel itself was clean and we had fresh towels three times in the week. The staff were obviously unhappy with the way the hotel has been managed. We were originally allocated a third floor one bedroom apartment up four flights of stairs with a buggy and two small children. Within an hour my four year old had climbed up onto a balcony chair and was hanging over the rails. The hotel did move us to ground floor room the next day. We spent most of the week avoiding being at the hotel and found one bar which was suitable for children with a play area.

The beach is wonderful and the other side of the bay is much more suitable for a family holiday. The Holiday Center hotel should not advertise itself as suitable for families as it is blatantly not.

The Holiday Centre is in a perfect location, as although you are in the heart of the town, it is still quiet when you want to sleep.

The fact that there was no air conditioning was a downfall due to the high temperatures but with the fans from reception this helped to cool the apartments down. The view from the front of the apartment was nice but from the bedroom to look out at a wall and rubbish below wasn't nice. However, it was a nice size room with good facilities.
