The three star Terrazamar Suite Aparthotel is situated halfway up the hillside, some 900 metres from the beach and 1,000 metres from the centre of Puerto Rico, on the south western coast of Gran Canaria, about 50 kilometres from the airport.

The accommodation at the six storey Terrazamar Suite, which was built in 2003 on a sloping site, comprises 100 apartments, four of which are specially adapted for the disabled. Each apartment has a private bathroom and shower, a bedroom, a kitchenette, a lounge and a balcony. They are equipped with a telephone, pay to view satellite television, a hair dryer and a rental safety deposit box. The rooms are cleaned five times weekly, the towels changed three times and the bed linen twice per week.

The facilities at the aparthotel include a buffet restaurant, a bar, a pool side snack bar, a heated swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers and parasols, a children's play area, a mini market and tennis courts.
