Myself, my daughter and my friend went to the Hawaii in July 2009. Reception staff very helpful except a younger guy - he was so rude, but the older manager helped us to move to a room that we had paid for that was suitable for three women and not just three beds in a very small room. So that took a couple of days to sort out.

On the first afternoon of our stay my friend had her camera stolen whilst we were laying round the poolside. Some guys that were not staying at the hotel came in the side gate and stole it but they were long gone when we noticed the camera gone, so beware. theft does happen here.

The entertainment was your usual holiday stuff. The food was excellent and always plenty - shame you had to pay for juice or water in the evening though. The hotel's situation is great - a nice walk round the bay to the West End bars and don't miss the Sunset Strip - nice classy bars down there for us over 40s.

I didn't like the pool area. It was crowded and the floor was so hot to walk on so most days we went to the beach but beware, sunbeds are expensive for daily rates so nobody used them. Go to the local supermarket and get a lilo to lay on.

Don't think I will go back to Ibiza as it is aimed at the young 20s or younger and in my opinion is tacky.

I stayed in the Hotel Hawaii last July. It wasn't my first time in Ibiza, I had gone the year before but stayed in an apartment. After staying at the Hawaii, I would recommend it to anyone planning to go to Ibiza. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the hotel is so clean and tidy. I am only young myself and thought staying in a hotel would change my holiday to something boring, but it didn't. It was really nice to be able to go out to clubs and bars, and then have a nice place to retreat to when you've had too much to drink or just want to chill out. I was really impressed with this hotel and would definitely go there again.

If you're going to Ibiza, this is the hotel to come to. There is a good variety of food! All the staff are friendly, except from the young guy who works in reception.

The beach is amazing and if you get a sea view, you'll be buzzing from the view! I will be going back to this hotel next June! There are plenty of bars, clubs and shops in a short walking distance, which is good when you are walking in high heeled shoes like me!
