Really disappointed. The Las Arenas is not a four star in my books. Under the beds never cleaned. Rooms with family really small.

Meals plenty of choice if you like it all oiled. Fruit not a lot fresh - I would say out of a tin.

Beach really gritty sand. Going once was enough. 20 kilometres from airport and not the ten kilometres we expected. The marina took us 20 minutes to walk there.

My husband, myself and two other adults arrived at the Las Arenas hotel on January 1st 2006 for a winter break after the hectic activities of Christmas with grandchildren etc. We were pleasantly surprised with the location of this hotel, and the quick transfer from the airport!

This hotel is absolutely perfect for touring around the Costa del Sol. We were only there for one week but managed to visit Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella, Gibraltar and many smaller places in between.

Food at the hotel is excellent with plenty of choices and the staff always willing to help! Only concern is that the pool seems to be in the shade most of the day, but maybe in the summer that could be a good thing. The four of us hope to return this September for a longer stay and hopefully explore more of the Costa del Sol!
