The atrium, flooded with interior light, is one of the elements that singularises the hotel. On entering, the visitor encounters a sculptural piece by Mariscal, the Fossil Cypress, that occupies the entire verticality of the building, from the floor to the skylight that crowns the terrace. The sculpture is 26 metres in height, two and a half in diameter and 90 tonnes in weight. The cafeteria is furnished in black and white and uses stainless steel. It has an open view of the urban street with the Guggenheim in full view. The cocktail lounge is red and white and offers music and a late night atmosphere. The hotel also has a restaurant. Situated in the lobby, the hotel's shop offers a selection of gifts and souvenirs. The lounge is a versatile space that can house up to 500 or 20 people thanks to it being a diaphanous structure establishing small, intimate spaces by means of a sophisticated system of partitions. It is a multi purpose space for family celebrations, company meetings, conventions or product presentations and is equipped with modern technology. The reading corner has a fireplace and the 'Txoko Tranquilo' corner has a a library has been created with titles related to design and architecture. The hotel has a business corner with computer, internet connection, printer, photocopier and fax machine. The lookout terrace is a large terrace paved with teak wood from where unusual views of the Guggenheim and the Rķa can be seen.
The Silken Gran Domine Bilbao has 131 rooms and 14 suites, spread over five floors in the building. A suite can be found on every floor and another ten on the fifth, six of them with views of the Guggenheim. Special care has been put into each room interior to have a personalised and distinguished detail from the rest and is each equipped with facilities expected of a five star hotel.
