The Valmangude Apartments was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was so noisy. The only problem was that we were when the world cup was on and when the Portuguese won a game, they go mental. They honk their car horns for about one to two hours. It sounded like they have won the world cup.

Now to the hotel. We stayed in June which is the start of season and you thought the hotel would have been very clean and safe but it wasn't. The toilets were dirty - they only changed the towels once a week. At the beginning, when I was the first one in my family to have a shower it spurted out yellow water. And the kitchen, well don't get me started. It was clean at first but when the bins start getting full, the kitchen started to smell. The sleeping space was clean and very large. Me and my family stayed in room 316 and it looks like it is in the quietest room in the hotel. Well, it isn't. Me and my brother were woken up every night by the down stairs room and we made a complaint and nothing was done about it.

The pool bar looked like a barn that was about to fall down. The swimming pool was lovely and clean and a huge relief to get into after the horrible night we had before. It is supposed to be rated three stars but I would rate it two. The reps at the hotel didn't have a clue what they were doing. Overall it was a good holiday, except the hotel was dirty and very noisy. It isn't a family friendly hotel.

Places I would recommend people to visit is definitely the strip, the four beaches and Aqua land water park.
