"Wow What A Fantastic Place"

What a fantastic place. We spent two weeks here and would have stayed longer if we could have. The apartments are great for families as they sleep five and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
With the Sa Lluna' restaurant and bar on site you don't need to go anywhere else to eat and the prices are fab.
Pere the owner is wonderful with the kids and we will be returning to the Alta Galdana next year for definite - Can't wait.

"Fantastic Value For Money"

We fully recommend these apartments to anyone looking for value for money. The apartment we had was so spacious, clean and comfortable with even a sun terrace which was a real sun trap. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and will definitely book at the Alta Galdana again. Cala Galdana itself is lovely, couldn't fault anything!

We stayed at these apartments last year. It was fantastic. The 'Sa Lluna' restaurant was very good value and had very nice staff. We especially enjoyed the company of Peter's son Ellis - he was very nice! Had a great time at the Alta Galdana - thanks.

"Great Value"

This was a great set of apartments. Clean and sufficient space for a family's needs. They are fairly basic but for what time you spend in them, they are well adequate. They are on a hill and the upper levels have quite a fair climb of steps to reach them, so beware anyone with mobility difficulties. The pool was always cleaned and tested each evening.
The attached Sa Lluna bar provided the best meals on the resort in my opinion and the manager and staff were terrific especially with children.
There are two car hire firms within 50 yards of the complex and two mini markets within 100 yards for basic requirements. For tobacco, however, you will need to travel seven kilometres to Ferriers as nowhere in Cala Galdana sells tobacco.
The resort itself is superb. A lovely sandy horseshoe shaped cove sheltered by hills. It's clean with shallow water ideal for toddlers. It is central to both main towns, about 35 minutes drive and a visit to the Laudro Castle just west on the main highway is well worth it.
If we can find who is now managing these apartments for 2007, we shall certainly book another two weeks. (They are not in the Sunseeker brochure for next season). Well recommended.

"Cheap And Cheerful"

The Alta Galdana Apartments are a great complex for families with children. The pool is a generous size with a smaller paddling pool for toddlers. It can be quite difficult to get up and down the very large number of steps if you have a pushchair so request a low level apartment when booking, if your child still relies on the pushchair.
The rooms are basic but clean and the maids who come in once a week are very friendly. If you intend eating in the apartment a lot, these probably aren't for you as the facilities are limited, but if like us you just want a cup of coffee and a slice of toast in the morning, then these apartments are ideal. The sun terrace is equipped with a clothes airer which we found was never empty for the full two weeks. We've stayed at the Alta Galdana two years running now and we'll definitely be returning again.
If you do decide to go to the Alta Galdana, make sure you eat at the ‘Sa Lluna' restaurant which is in the same complex as the apartments. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced and Pere, the owner, absolutely loves kids. We ate there every night this year. We can hardly wait to go back next year.

"Friendly, Cheap And Fun"

We love this complex! Great for children who are out of pushchairs as quite a few steps to get to apartments. Great pool, friendly and welcoming staff (even the cleaners respond to a cheery 'Hola'!)
Wait for last minute deals and you can bag a bargain. Ideal if you don't want to stay in a really pricey huge hotel (you can sample the benefits of that for free just down the hill, where the entertainment is open to all).
The bay is exquisite with soft white sand and shallow waters for little ones. Wear shoes if you snorkel though as the rocks are quite sharp!
Hire a cheap car on the first day from the rental guy below the 'Sa Lluna' bar and head for the supermarket in the capitol for cheaper groceries. Don't leave without eating at the 'Cala Mitjana' restaurant down past the beach – the best seafood ever! We have been back twice and intend going again. Highly recommended!
