The three star Marinada Aparthotel is situated close to the beaches in Salou, on the north east coast of Spain, approximately 12 kilometres from Reus airport and 100 kilometres from Barcelona.
The accommodation at the Marinada comprises 228 rooms and eight suites, each having a private bathroom and a balcony or terrace. All are equipped with air conditioning, central heating, satellite television and a rental safety security box.
The facilities at the aparthotel include a buffet restaurant, a bar/cafeteria and a laundry service. There is a swimming pool and a children's pool, surrounded by sun terraces with sun beds and loungers, an indoor pool, a gym and sauna. A programme of daytime and evening entertainment is provided and guests can take part in sports and activities such as mini golf. There are many clubs, bars, restaurants and shops in Salou and the PortAventura theme park is within easy reach of the hotel. The hotel is open from April until October.
Board basis available at this aparthotel is half board or full board.

We got upgraded to the Marinada hotel and were given half board. I would have rather stopped in the apartments self catering. The hotel was clean but the food was disgusting and we ate out anyway. Not a very good holiday at all and Salou is like Blackpool - very tacky.

Miranada is a good hotel. The rooms are small, especially when there are four beds. It is better to ask for a bunk bed if you are sharing with children. There is a great mini club for children and activities in the evening for them as well as the adults. I quite enjoyed the karaoke.
Food was ok but not varied enough except on Mediterranean night when it was fabulous. The greatest downside was the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi which absolutely stank and you have to pay extra to use the sauna and gym. The beach is walking distance but crowded and Salou can be a little dirty.
