Well what can I say. We couldn't fault the holiday at all. The food and restaurants were great. It was nice having a choice of where we wanted to eat every night. Also the apartments were lovely. Just a shame that it didn't have air conditioning. We liked it so much that the day after we came back we booked for next year.

We first visited Las Palmeras in 1990 and fell in love with the place straight away. The complex is very quiet, spotlessly clean and well served by the friendly staff. We have stayed about five or six times at Las Palmeras and even if we are visiting another part of Menorca, we always visit Las Palmeras for the day. The staff seem to recognise you and make you feel welcome.

I would recommend the terraced villas at the side of the pool for a stay. The pool is magnificent and was cleaned everyday. The on site restaurant serves excellent food, but the supermarket can seem a little pricey.

The down sides are that it is at the top of hill and all the restaurants and sea front are at the bottom. Also there is no beach there. The apartments don't have air con, just a ceiling fan, but it can be a breezy island.

All in all, I can really recommend a stay there, especially for families with young children or for couples. It really is a chill out place and we look forward to our next visit there. Enjoy!
