Just came back from the Hotel Caribe Resort and found the hotel to be very clean and tidy. Pools were very cold through most of the day. Bars can be expensive with nowhere on site to buy supplies for the rooms so went into town and bought cans of beer, crisps, coke, coffee and a kettle because the rooms don't have one but the do have a fridge. Our TV picked up BBC1, 2, 4 and 'Ceebeebies'. Most (but not all) of the staff are great, the reception and porters were very good. the catering staff were less than useless and in some cases down right rude. If you are English and try to take a pushchair into the dining room and you will be told that its not allowed, then just check out how many Spanish families take them in. Ask for a child seat and they just wave over to the corner for you to get it yourself, yet when a Spanish family wants one they not only go and get it but set it up as well. The food is plentiful but is pretty much the same day in day out. It is very often cold but there are a couple of microwaves.

The hotel entertainment does not start till 10 p.m. so is pretty useless if you have small kids. They were doing random surveys while we were there and we were told that pretty much every one had
made the same complaints.

It's very east to get to the park on the complimentary train/tram thing every 20 minutes Four people and a pushchair cost under five euros to get into town so its a lot cheaper to go into town for a drink in the evening than it is to stay in the hotel.
