I had a great time with my family. My two daughters had a great time and it is a very friendly hotel. My little boy who is 13 went off with the entertainers and he had a wonderful time.
Lanzarote Bay was the best holiday ever had. Me and my family had a lovely time and we've gone back twice since June. I advise everyone who is looking for a nice and relaxing holiday and people who want to have fun to go there.
The food is amazing as they have different foods every night but still stick to English food as well. I had a lovely experience.

The hotel is being modernised which is good. Gardeners and maintainance staff are constantly working during the day to keep the standard up. Maid service and restaurant staff are excellent so is the food.
Only complaints are - Kids Club was solely crayoning and sticking which is no good for older children and the entertainment staff were poor. They couldn't even organise the bingo properly! It is a shame that this lets down the rest of the holiday. Our reps were excellent and we had a fantastic two weeks ;0)

Contrary to the description above, the apartments do NOT have air conditioning or hairdryers.
We really enjoyed the food. On holidaytruths.com there are some very unkind comments on the food but we found that it was varied and excellently cooked and presented and plenty of it. The only slight quirk was that they put sugar on the fried bread!!??
The accommodation was dated and in serious need of updating. It's true that the walls are peeling paint and flaking. Also true is that there are plenty of ants and cockroaches but it is near Africa!
Sadly your holiday can be ruined by some parents whose sole intention is to get as drunk as quickly as possible before lunchtime and allow their kids to run riot - if you let them.
Mad scramble for sunbeds at 8:45am. Even though the hotel professes to discourage the act of reserving by towels, they do not stop it.
Did enjoy the holiday though. The rooms are clean and adequate and the maid service is great .
The entertainment is really good with a two week cycle so you won't see the same act twice, which is a shame with some acts as they were that good. The Brazilian dancers/acrobats are awesome. Good holiday overall and good value.

"Great For Teenagers And Families"

This holiday was amazing! I had my doubts about going as my two little cousins were coming but after the first day I never saw them! They loved the clubs and my dad and sister were always enjoying the day activities which ranged from shooting to pool games to pool, the list is endless.
The food was nice and varied and I thorougly enjoyed it. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. One of the pool men gave out bracelets to the visitors! The reps were great as well and very entertaining.
I was worried that there wouldn't be any teenagers there but there were loads. The squash courts and the entertainment room which was below the hotel and the tennis courts is where you could get away from the adults and then a few minutes down the road from the hotel there is an arcade and shops and the beach.
I would really recommend all families to go here. Its action packed for the kids and adults that like to keep busy! The night entertainment was always good fun and if you have any teenagers, believe me, they will have a good time. I'll never forget this holiday! The cocktails are nice as well!!
These opinions are those of HotelStreet visitors and not of HotelStreet.
