"Fiesta Park Hotel Great"

I really enjoyed my stay. The food was excellent and not as some of the reviews I read. Before I went, I must admit, I was a bit scared but could not fault the quality and the variety on offer.
The hotel itself was bright, modern and nice and clean. The bedrooms were done every day and fresh towels put in. The bed linen was changed in the middle of the week.
The entertainment was OK but catered mostly for the foreign tourist but hey, you are in Spain. Really enjoyed our holiday at the Fiesta Park and would definitely go back again.

Starting on a positive note, the Fiesta Park was spotlessly clean, room was comfortable and staff friendly. So what was wrong?
Staying in the hotel at half term, I was surprised that there was no entertainment for children, although I didn't have any myself, what entertainment there was, was for the Spanish OAPs and this was ballroom dancing until 10.30 p.m. and was followed by a dancing themed act.
The hotel was packed with these Spanish OAPs and this meant the dining room was stretched to say the least. The menu was again aimed at the Spanish - warm boiled ham for breakfast not my cup of tea!
Staying all inclusive we found it very annoying that we had to wait until guests who were paying had been served. The drinks, when you got them, were local brands, which is fair enough but the spirits were only 24 per cent proof, not the usual 37 per cent.
Would I go back? Never, I can imagine that in the summer the queues for the bar and food would be a nightmare and there is very little space for sunbeds. We had the feeling from the Spanish guests that we shouldn't be there.

First impressions were poor. Went with mam and dad. If you don't get pool view, the views are shocking. Food was edible, not the best. Pool is quite small.
Turned out better everyday. Only six euros to the new Benidorm which is fab in the square - good for young people.
The Fiesta Park was liveable and was really hot weather. The sauna and gym costs you.

The Fiesta Park hotel is described as family friendly. Well, it is totally overrun with little children whose parents do not bother to control them! The swimming pool is padlocked until 9 a.m. and then there is a mad dash for the sunbeds. There are nowhere near enough, so unless you are prepared to fight for one, don't bother!
The rooms are very small, the entertainment is centred around eight to ten year old children and the food is 'chips with everything'.

The Fiesta Park does not cater for vegetarians. I had pizza for five nights or salad without any cheese as they displayed meat, didn't know what cheese was.
The evening entertainment was from 10:30 until 11:00 when ballroom dancing started.

"Never Again!"

Me, my partner and two sons aged one and four went to this hotel for 12 days (Xmas and New Year period). The hotel is the worst placed I have ever stayed in and would not recommend to anyone. On the day of our arrival, we were informed by another couple that their cases had been stolen from the left luggage room and reception was not helpful.
The first four nights security was called to the floor to sort out noise and fights in the early hours. Entertainment started at 10.30 p.m. every night - too late for the little ones. My four year old was told he had to get his own drink from the bar as you were only allowed one drink per person.
Xmas dinner was not served until 10 p.m., again too late for the kids. Restaurant was down two flights of stairs and we had to carry the buggy up/down as the disabled entrance was not in use. The lifts were barely big enough to fit the buggy in let alone anyone else.
We had our safe broken into on New Year's Day, along with at least 20 other guests yet again reception was not bothered and we had to call the police ourselves.
The heated swimming pool was stone cold - actually warmer in the outdoor pool! Food was very repetitive and other than chips, not a lot for the little ones. At least 30 people we spoke to whilst at the hotel went down with sickness and diarrhoea (ourselves included).
No water came out of the taps for nearly 20 hours. All in all, the only reasonable thing I can say about the hotel is it was clean!

"Fiesta Park Hotel February 2005"

We stayed (two adults and children aged 16 and 12) during the February half-term week. The hotel and Benidorm in general was occupied by elderly Spanish and a smaller number of elderly Germans, with a few English families. Weather was fine all week, temperature in the range of 15 - 22 degrees. Hotel is situated on the edge of the old town where the pace is much more relaxed than the 'sunset strip' ambience of the newer developments.
We stayed full board; at each main meal there were at least two choices of starter, six of main course and several desserts - the temptation, because it was all buffet-style, was to try a bit of everything. Food was always nicely presented and prepared. Shame about the Spanish liking for gaudy-looking cream dollops and the lack of any cheese, but we always found something to fancy. House wine cheap at £4 a bottle, coke at £1.
Rooms fine for two to three but a little cramped for us four. Staff very friendly and reception happy to arrange taxis and car hire. Smashing break in the middle of winter, but we were greeted by snow in Manchester on return.

The hotel was approximately ten minutes walk to Poniente beach, five minutes to the start of the old town and 20-25 minutes walk to the busy night life section of Levante. A taxi back to hotel was ?4.
The hotel room (single) was clean (cleaners came daily) although no balcony and bathroom a touch small. The food was mainly international / Spanish. The week I was there from 16 Oct the hotel was mainly occupied by Spanish OAP's on their government twice yearly paid for holiday.
It was generally very busy everyhwere. There were security issues in the Summer but I found it to be safe enough as they now have CCTV cameras in several areas and a night time security guard at the entrance. Staff are friendly and helpful.
