The two key Esmeralda Mar Apartments, with sister apartments San Miguel Park, are situated some 500 metres from the beach, in Puerto San Miguel on the northern coast of Ibiza, about 25 kilometres from the airport.
The accommodation at the Esmeralda Mar complex comprises 18 one bedroom apartments and 20 studios, each having a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a balcony or terrace. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television and a safety deposit box, and are cleaned six times each week.
The facilities at the apartments include a buffet restaurant, a beach bar, and a swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces with sun beds. Entertainment is provided twice weekly, and guests can take part in various sports and activities, such as tennis and table tennis. There are shops, bars and restaurants in Puerto San Miguel.

Stayed in Esmeralda but they gave us some apartments over a restaurant two minutes away - I would not but a refugee in them. The food was really poor, spring rolls cold in the middle, pork was on offer every day. The kids would not eat it at all – I had to force myself. I would not recommend it to any one. If they served that food in jail there would be riots.
it was the longest week of my life. Glad to be back home. Second day there, me and my girl both got the runs. Nothing for the kids to do. At night no entertainment at all. The hotel is full of Germans, even the signs are in German. Around the hotel there is nothing to do and the kids wanted to come home the same day we got there. We ended up going to the hotel next door which was great. We went in there every night of our holiday. On a plus, you are two minutes away from the beach, which is lovely.
