The three key Alfagar Apartments are located five kilometres from the centre of Albufeira, just five minutes drive from the shopping streets of São João with its bars and restaurants. The Alfagar complex is also close to several golf courses, a riding centre, the casino and marina at Vilamoura. The apartments command a stunning cliff-top perch over-looking the sea. They are set in nine hectares of gardens and cliff formations with panoramic views along the coastline and to the Atlantic Ocean. Private steps lead down to the sand of Santa Eulália beach.

The apartments are located either on the ground floor, first floor or second floor (except studio and three bedroom apartments). All apartments are composed of a living-room with a convertible sofa bed for two, dining area, kitchen (four electric rings, oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine and kitchen tools/utensils) and satellite television. All have a balcony or terrace and a safety deposit box. The bedrooms have twin beds and a wardrobe. The studios have no separate bedroom but only a convertible sofa bed in the living-room. There are apartments with one bedroom, two bedrooms and three bedrooms. Apartments are cleaned five times a week including arrival day. Linen is changed once a week and towels are changed twice a week.

Facilities at the Alfagar complex include a reception open 24 hours a day, telephone and fax service and three swimming pools open from 08.00 to 20.00 hours. One swimming pool has a with children's section near the bar, with possibility of drinks and snacks. Another pool is on the top of the cliffs with sea view and there is a children's pool and playground, by the bar. The complex features two tennis courts and a restaurant serving dinner from 18.30 to 23.00 hours and which is open from the end of February to the beginning of December. Portuguese specialities and international cuisine is on offer and there is a restaurant service in the bar when the restaurant is closed). There is an open air terrace dinner and, for colder nights, guests can enjoy the open fire. Other facilities include a coffee shop, live music every night, supermarket open from 08.00 hours every day, games room and a bar.
