This Riu hotel consists of five seven storey buildings set in 3,500 square metres of gardens and featuring a lounge bar with television and card area, two non-smoking restaurants, hairdresser, boutique/kiosk and internet access. Other facilities include a swimming pool that is heated in winter, children's pool, lounge chairs, cabins, sun umbrellas by the pool, sun terrace, pool snack bar, mini club and children's playground. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast which includes wholemeal products and on the spot cooking stations. Lunch is taken as a light meal at the pool snack bar and dinner consists of a cold and warm starters buffet, main course buffet and 'on the spot' dishes, as well as a dessert buffet. Vegetarian dishes are available. Once a week there is a theme buffet. Entertainment facilities at the Riu Waikiki include table tennis, shuffle board, workout, volley ball, water polo and two hard surface tennis court. Entertainment is provided in the form of live music or shows (several times a week) and the DJ's music selection (once a week). There is a daytime entertainment programme for adults (six times a week) and a daytime entertainment programme for children from four to 12 years of age (six times a week).
