The four star Interpalace Hotel is situated in La Paz, a residential area of Puerto de La Cruz, some 1,500 metres from the beach and city centre, on the northern coast of Tenerife, about 25 kilometres from the Los Rodeos airport.

The accommodation at the seven storey Interpalace comprises 225 rooms, each having a private bathroom and shower, and a balcony or terrace. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a telephone, a mini bar and a hair dryer. A safety deposit box and music channel can be rented on arrival.

The facilities at the hotel include a non smoking buffet restaurant, a piano bar with disco and live music, a pool bar serving snacks, an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor heated pool, with sauna and a floodlit hard tennis court. Guests can play tennis, mini golf, table tennis, pool, pétanque or visit the Bonanza Palace Hotel to use the health and beauty centre. Live music and weekly shows are provided, as is a free shuttle bus to the city centre (except at weekends and on festival days). The hotel makes up a larger complex with its neighbouring sister hotels Bonanza Palace and Canarife Palace.

Board basis available at this hotel is bed and breakfast, half board or all inclusive.

Interpalace Hotel is also known as the Hotasa Puerto Resort.

We first stayed in the Interpalace in 1983. Yes, that long ago. Usually over the Christmas period, but we were drawn back at other times. We had a short break after 1995, mainly because new management did not include UK agents but returned five years ago. As I write, I am thinking of packing, as we are off again [January 2008].

We are greeted as old friends by the staff who still remember us. Many have retired, but they are always friendly. The hotel is spotless, the food is good and the garden is the best kept in Puerto.

All I can say is that I had a fantastic stay. The staff were very friendly, the food was fantastic everyday and the hotel was of a great standard. The hotel is due to be refurbished in a few weeks and I believe it will look fantastic afterwards as it is already nice!

The only thing was that the outdoor pool was freezing, however once you got over the shook it was fine. :0)
