I would like to thank all the staff at El Faro Apartments Benidorm for a wonderful week. Special thanks to Paul, Maggie and Vernon - they were great. If you pass this message on to them, just mention the big guy who drank vodka coke!

Myself and my 11 year old daughter stayed at the Residencial El Faro for 11 days from Febraury 11th until February 22nd. Met some very nice people, including all the staff. Maggie and Paul were fantastic. We had a lot of fun. The bar staff talk great English and are very friendly.
The rooms were clean, basic and very good. Great views. Have a visit for a week or two. You won't want to come back home.
Visit 'Smugglers' Rest' and the 'Beer Academy'. Great food and staff. Also visit the Gran Hotel Bali - the tallest hotel in Europe with a view point at the top.
If you look carefully at one of the mountains there is a piece missing and you will find that missing piece in the sea.

We had a great time at El Faro. My husband and myself stayed for one week and found the place very clean and the staff very helpful. Maggie was a terrific help and very friendly, also Vincent was a friendly night porter. Even though he had to put up with a lot of drunken yobs, he dealt with it excellently.
We really enjoyed our stay and would go back for a visit next time were in Benidorm. Thanks Maggie for everything.

"Loved El Faro Apartments"
Travel date:
July 2007
Four of us stayed in El Faro last July (2007) and had a brill time. The apartments are only a couple of minutes stroll to the lovely beach. We had a fantastic sea view which I requested when booking and it was the first time we actually got the sea view we asked for! The apartment was fine, no complaints, and clean. We didn't need any frills as we spent the two weeks out on the beautiful beach and sight-seeing so we just slept and showered in the apartment. We brought our two teenage daughters with us who made friends with all nationalities around the pool and on the beach.
Vincent was there behind the bar most nights when we got back from the night life in Benidorm centre and always welcomed us with a smile and conversation (and late drinks). He was so friendly and helpful and spoke great English. We got a taxi into Benidorm centre a few nights as the girls, 17 and 19, wanted disco bars etc. They had a brill time. So it was the best of both worlds - a nice peaceful location yet within easy reach of the hectic night life.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. All we had to do was ask and they did their best to help. We are going back again this year in July and the girls are so excited. Once they are happy, we are too! We know we will have another great holiday at El Faro. Would recommend highly for anyone looking for a quiet location away from the hectic centre of Benidorm.
