We took our two children and went to El Duque after Christmas as they offered a good deal for a short full-board break. The kids loved it there as they had plenty of activities, so we never saw them during the day! Weather was good, everyone liked the food (buffet) and we had plenty of time to read, so everyone happy.

I found this place good value for money and would recommend it for families with limited budget holidays. I hope this helps.

My fiancée and I have just returned from two weeks in Tenerife, staying at the Aparthotel del Duque. We found the complex amazing with staff being most friendly and helpful. The facilities there were ideal!! There are two pools, the larger one situated next to the restaurant with pool bar. The bartenders we found most friendly and the bar menu is a must (I personally recommend the American Sandwich). The beach isn't far and the coastline there is very impressive.

The apartments are very comfortable and well kept. There is a supermarket below ground level (in the shopping centre) with shops by the entrance, and a rather charming 'boat' bar and a wonderful Chinese Restaurant. Go up a floor and you have the El Duque grill, which I highly recommend. Facing that there is the mini golf, which is a must for all.

We fully enjoyed our stay and will be going again next year (this year if I have my way!!!) and will recommend Aparthotel del Duque to everyone as it played a big part in making our holiday one of the best!!!!.

We have just returned from a weeks stay ay the El Duque and it's superb. Got a cheap deal and WILL go back. Appartment was massive with a bathroom you could fit two beds in! Very clean(and cleaned daily). Great facilities, restaurants galore, lovely helpful staff and a ten minute walk to the beach. Seven towels provided, free television use, ceiling fan and great security.

For going further afield, the gym and supermarket were under the complex, the taxi rank at the front and bus stop two minutes walk.

Only thing I would say is that after 12, everything goes quiet so don't go and spoil it. If you're out for partying, stay somewhere else! Excellent over all, unfaultable and will be going back in November!!
