My friends and I stay at the Puerto Plata two or three times a year. We just love it. The satff are so friendly and welcome us back every time. For us it is like a home from home but with sunshine.

This was my favourite holiday I have been on. It was very pleasurable. The staff were very nice at the pool and in the bar at night.

I loved it so much here in Puerto Rico I'm moving here permanently in a year or two. I highly recommend you stay here in the Puerto Plata.

It was the best holiday I have ever been on. The location, staff and facilities were good. The only thing that was bad was that when we went, the pool was empty and there were improvements going on in the whole complex but that was our tour operator's fault for not informing us.

If my boyfriend would, I'd be going back more than once a year! Fantastic. The night life is really good and varied for all ages.

The total price of the holiday being so cheap, my wife and I didn't really know what to expect. The accommodation is very clean, albeit basic, but if, like us, you only really spend any time in it sleeping, it is more than satisfactory.

The actual facilities are over and above what you would expect in a hotel of this rating. The pool and pool bar area, while not overly large, were both pleasant, but where the hotel excels is the restaurant and bar. The food in the restaurant is superb and keenly priced and the bar has an excellent atmosphere and very friendly bar staff.

Puerto Rico itself we found to be spot on for us, plenty of eateries and lively bars. We're going back to the hotel next January to celebrate my 40th birthday with 12 friends.

I have just come back from Puerto Rico with a close friend, and we had a fantastic time, so much better than I thought. The food is so cheap, which I will not get over, and there is such a variety. Went to Amadoras Beach - a totally amazing, nice 15 minutes walk. The hotel itself, I was impressed with. We wanted a cheap holiday and did not know what to expect. It was very clean, the bar staff in the downstairs (pool side bar) are so friendly, very chatty.

I definitely recommend going there. Next time I am taking my partner because I know I will still have just as an amazing time. Only being 22 years old, there is more than enough to keep you occupied. Go to the shopping centre at the bottom of the hill and Linekers Bar is a definite must. If you are going or thinking of going, do it.

I stayed at the Puerto Plata Apartments for 11 nights with my family and I was so impressed that I am going back there with my friend this year. The apartments are clean, the staff are welcoming and they have everything that you could possibly want for your holiday. The pool bar is open early in the morning (8:30 I think) and doesn't close until 2:00am. I would strongly recommend these apartments to anyone!

This was my best holiday of all times! I had a really great time. I met a lot of nice staff - Colin, Antonio and the other staff that worked in the bar. Go and visit, it will be wicked!
