The four star Agamenon Hotel is located just by the south side of Mahon harbour, in the town of Es Castell. Overlooking the sea, it is six kilometres from the airport and two kilometres from Mahón.
All 75 rooms in the hotel have a bathroom with hair dryer, satellite television, telephone, safety deposit box, mini bar, central heating and air-conditioning. All rooms have a terrace overlooking the harbour.
The Agamenon has private parking, meeting room, cafe, buffet and a la carte restaurant, snack bar by the swimming pool, garden and a private dock for yachts on the harbour.
Board basis available at this hotel is bed and breakfast or half board.

Second time at this hotel and did not regret returning. Laid back, relaxing atmosphere, a place to chill out and enjoy. The hotel boasts one of the most fabulous panoramic views of Mahon harbour, the entrance to which is always busy with the comings and goings of a multitude of boats of all shapes and sizes.
The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and staff are extremely friendly. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and found the buffet breakfast first class. The hotel is just ten minutes from the airport and is ideally located for guests to enjoy the town of Es Castell, which is itself a delightful and charming little town.
The harbour area of Calles Font, quarter of a mile from the hotel, is a good place to visit if you want a good seafood meal, but we found it overpriced and lacking in quality in general. A much better option is to visit the many restaurants and bars away from the front, where they offer better quality and lower prices and are a joy to eat in.
All in all, the Agamenon is a good choice of holiday hotel for those looking for a relaxing holiday in tranquil and comfortable surroundings.
