The three star Hotel Almijara, which opened in 2003, is situated a short distance from the beach at La Herradura, some 80 kilometres south of Granada, on the Costa Tropical.

The accommodation, at the Almijara, comprises 36 double rooms, two suites, one junior suite and one room adapted for wheelchair users, each room having a private bathroom, and being equipped with air conditioning and heating, satellite television, a direct dial telephone, a mini bar and a safety deposit box.

The facilities, at the hotel, include an à la carte restaurant, a dining room, a terrace bar, a coffee shop, internet access and a meeting room.
