The four star Amaragua Hotel is situated in Torremolinos, right on the seafront and close to the pedestrianised Paseo Marítimo of La Carihuela. It is half a kilometre from the centre of Torremolinos, half a kilometre from Puerto Marina and six kilometres from Málaga International Airport.
The Amaragua has 280 rooms, all equipped with a bathroom, terrace or balcony with a sea view, air conditioning, central heating, telephone, satellite television and a safety deposit box. The hotel has a luxury suite, eight suites and 22 junior suites, as well as adjoining rooms for families.
Facilities at the hotel include gardens and terrace, swimming pool, two restaurants offering a traditional a la carte menu serving local cuisine or a buffet, all with panoramic views over the sea, bar restaurant 'La Ola', conference and function rooms holding from 20 to 1,200 people, television room, tennis court and parking.
Board basis available at this hotel is bed and breakfast or half board.

We stayed at the Amaragua Hotel for a weekend break. It was ideally situated on the beach front of Torremolinos. There is a promenade so that you can walk along the front to Torremolinos or the other way to Benalmadena. I would recommend getting a taxi or hiring a car if you want to explore as the walk from the hotel is uphill all the way, which we discovered when we wanted to get the train into Malaga.
The hotel lobby was very welcoming and the staff very helpful. The rooms were adequately comfortable and clean. The restaurant was a little disappointing.
Overall I would recommend the Amaragua and would go back again
