The two star Mirachoro Sol Hotel is situated some 1.5 kilometres from the beach, in the centre of Portimao, in the Algarve region of the southern coast of Portugal.

The accommodation, at the Mirachoro Sol, which was refurbished in 2008, comprises 65 rooms on 7 floors, each room having a bathroom, and being equipped with a ceiling fan, satellite television, a telephone and a safety deposit box.

The facilities, at the Hotel, include a breakfast room, a bar, a snack bar, 24 hour reception, lifts, a swimming pool with sun beds and parasols and an indoor pool. A courtesy bus to the beach is provided four times daily. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in Portimao.
