The four star Sol Gavilanes Hotel is located next to the sea, right on the Cala Galdana beach and is surrounded by gardens and pine woods. It is just five minutes walk from the shops in Cala Galdana, 15 minutes from Ciutadella, 15 miles from the 14-hole golf course Son Parc, 40 minutes from Mao and 50 kilometres from the airport.

This Sol hotel has 346 rooms, the majority affording views of the beach. There are 297 double rooms, nine single, 29 family rooms and 11 junior suites, all with a bathroom with magnifying mirror and hair-dryer, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite television, telephone, pillow menu, mini-bar, terrace, safety deposit box and room service between 08.00 and 23.00 hours.
