We stayed at the Compostela Beach for Xmas and New Year. The most expensive holiday and the worst accommodation I have stayed in.

The walk way railings were unsafe, the toilet was loose and stank the room out, in the other apartment the toilet was not working and had to be fixed, the bed room was like a cell with no window to open, the shower had to be held to wash yourself, the fridge didn't shut, the cooking facilities were useless and to top it all we were infested with creepies! The shop would have been shut down in England and it stank of cat wee due to the fact the place was infested with cats. I think we had the worse rooms in there. Never again!

We stayed at the Compostela Beach apartments as a girly group in September and it was still lovely and hot (30 degrees most days). I was worried that there would be a lot of noise but actually discovered it was close enough to everything but just far enough away that you didn't hear a peep at night from bars etc!

Literally a five minute walk from Playa Vista beach (or less) which is a great beach with lots of restaurants and amenities close by. The apartments were spotless and we couldn't have had more value for our money. We got more than we asked for - fridge, washing machine, TV, safe and hot water whenever we liked (which can sometimes not be taken for granted in some places!)

Staff are always happy to help and very friendly. All in all such a good holiday. I am going back again this year and taking my partner as is it definitely just as suitable for couples not just a lairy party destination - you can do as much or as little as you want. Can't wait!

My husband, two kids and family stayed in the apartments. Three of our party were burgled. The room was like a cell with no air conditioning and cockroaches.

Wouldn't recommend the Compostela apartments to my worst enemy.

The staff were friendly and the area was lovely.

Brill apartments, friendly staff. The light in the kitchen was not working. When I spoke to reception they sent someone up within 10 minutes. Very clean cupboards and spotless overall. Brill
