Las Marismas Corralejo Apartments

My family and I stayed at the apartments for seven nights. We had three generations staying there and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

The staff were very helpful and attentive and the apartment grounds were amazing with three pools, pool bar, waterfalls and balcony etc.

The apartments were very comfortable indeed. The beds were large - can easily accommodate three people in one bed - they equate to super king size. The wardrobes were built in with sliding mirror doors. The bathrooms were very luxurious and the maid changed sheets, bins and towels every other day. The jaccuzi is no longer in action but there is a gym, tennis courts and there is a programme of exercise classes and aqua fit etc.

The apartments are situated walking distance from the Monday and Friday market and Baku water park. There is a car park attached to the apartments. There is internet access and overall the complex is very pleasant.

Apartments are secure and with many items provided - kettle, pots, TV with remote, and lots of space.

Food was fantastic. There were many options every night. Never the same choice of main meals twice throughout the week. However, drinks were not included with evening meals on a half board basis! Great selections of breads, fruit, salads and deserts. We have all put on weight! We would certainly stay here again. Thanks Las Marismas Corralejo!

Although the apartment was excellent, as were the pools and gardens, the reception was dreadful. We were given wrong directions to our apartment in a large complex. We ended up having to hump our suitcases down two flights of stairs and eventually arrived after 30 minutes of trudging around. When we later complained we were told 'Well, we are only human and we all make mistakes.' This was the nearest we got to an apology. Everyone that we met had had similar experiences, including one group who had two severely handicapped people in their party.

Corralejo was great - excellent restaurants and interesting shops and unlike the reception staff at Las Marismas, friendly people. The management really needs to sort them out!
