"Noisy, Noisy"

I have just returned from two weeks in the Comodoro Playa hotel. I am a single traveller OAP. I requested a high floor. Was given room 102 - yes, the first floor over the pool and bar and next to the noisiest road in Palma Nova. Girls screaming at 2 and 3 in the morning, men drunk and shouting at 3 and 4 in the morning. I struggled to get a nights sleep.
Hotel good, clean and situated perfectly. Food - three star. Have been to this resort five times and it's the worse room ever. For the young only.

"Comodoro Hotel - Palma Nova/Magaluf"

Hotel is listed as Palma Nova but could just as easily be Magaluf as it's situated right between the two resorts (which have merged). Hotel has a great location on the beach and in the heart of the Magaluf night life (but not too noisy at night).
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned/towels changed daily.
All inclusive food was good, nice salads etc - some of the meat dishes were less good but typical of what you may expect from Spanish hotels.
Biggest flaw is that the pool and surrounding area is small and is 90% in the shade - hard to get a lounger on the sun. The night-time entertainment is ludicrously poor - bingo, movies, clowns, belly dancing etc. May sound decent but, believe me, it was dire and only bearable because of the all-inclusive drinks (which go on until 11 p.m.).
Not a four star in British terms but probably merits this rating when comparing to other Spanish hotels. Would go back but wouldn't make of point of doing so.

"Hotel Comodoro Playa"

The Comodoro Playa Hotel is a lovely place to stay, very modern, nice rooms and views to die for. The pool was never busy, but the water cold. There is a private gate that takes you straight to the promenade and beach. The staff could not do enough and were very friendly.
The downside to this hotel was the food, choice was limited and the entertainment pathetic, only one hour per night. Having said that, I am planning to go there again next year. If they just upped the quality of the food, it would definitely deserve the four star rating.

The hotel was brilliant. Staff very helpful, entertainment was good except the clown that was meant for a kids' entertainment not adult. Location brilliant - back door straight onto the beach. Every thing - shops etc - on your front door. Food at the beginning wasn't to good but picked up as the week went on. Could do with a few more bar staff though, more so with it being all inclusive.

"Loved It"

I went to this hotel with my husband and thought it was lovely. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is really clean. Our only bit of a moan was the food as we went all inclusive. I thought it might have been nicer though we never went hungry. If you didn't like breakfast, you could have a snack at ten a.m.
My husband is disabled and had no problem with the hotel and the beach being about thirty paces away was a bonus. We would have gone again this year but the price of the holiday has rocketed so we are off to Palmanova but another hotel.
