The three star Alcano Hotel is a two storied building surrounded by gardens, situated on the Granada plains, just over five kilometres from the commercial and monumental centre of Granada, and some 12 kilometres from the airport.

The accommodation, at the Alcano, comprises 97 rooms, each having a bathroom, and being equipped with air conditioning, satellite television, a telephone, and 50 rooms having a mini bar.

The facilities, at this hotel, include a restaurant, coffee shop, 24 hour reception and a number of fully equipped meeting rooms, with a maximum capacity of 550 people. In the gardens there is a swimming pool and a children's pool and play ground. In summer a buffet bar is open by the pool and in the afternoons a barbecue is held.
