"Aloe Apartments Brilliant"
Travel date:
November 2007
Aloe apartments are situated a short distance away from the main strip. The apartments are exceptionally clean and cool in the sun.
If you are in a downstairs apartment, I'd advise you to have a shower before the people upstairs as the water comes from a tank on the roof. The pool is lovely size but it is not for the faint hearted - it is freezing and I am sure it is cooled by a giant fridge.
Receptionist is very helpful and the bars around are excellent. The 'Spinnaker' is a great Irish bar with exceptional food and fun, 'Tequila Bar' if you want a bucket of cocktails and back to a super clean apartment.
The apartments are situated away from the hub of the strip for a good nights sleep but close enough to walk down for a bite to eat or a drink. If you're not up for a quiet night out, then when you walk along the strip walk on the far side of the road or else you will have enough flyers to start a large bonfire. Best relaxing holiday ever.

"Aloe Apartments Great!"

Fantastic clean apartments, great for a midnight dip, due to the part time receptionists! Ten minutes from the busy town. Visit 'Pinoccios' for food and 'Mulligans' for music. Rangers fans say hi to John at the Ibrox Bar. So good, I'm going again in February.

"Aloe Apartments Excellent"

The apartments were clean, the pool was clean and very cold - good for hangover cure. Only a ten minutes downhill walk to beach, restaurants, bars shops etc but where the apartments are situated, you get peace to sleep if you want to.
Found 'Pinocchio's' the best place to eat, especially the lamb chops and 'Mulligan's' Irish bar is great for live music. 'Titos' has great karaoke and friendly staff and the 'Ibrox' house is for all you rangers fans, with John the best bar man ever, although it is quite hard to find. Just ask a cab to take you to restaurant 'China' and you're there.

"The Aloe Apartments Are Fab"
Travel date:

The Aloe Apartments are great. They are also very clean and are cleaned every day and sprayed with dis-infectant to keep away the mosquitoes, which actually works well. The food from the bar is fab (especialy the toasties I got every day.)
The beach is only a five minute walk and the beach is very beautiful. The beach front is full of restaurants including chinese, bars and clubs. There are also amusements and an Italian ice cream shop which sells very tasty ice-cream. The best restaurant is 'Pinochios' and the best bar is 'Lady Mucks' which is the biggest laugh in the world. If you go to Puerto del Carmen, I recommend that you book a stay at the Aloe Apartments.
